Last updated October 2026. This page explains what you're agreeing to when you book a service through this site, by text, or in person. It's written in plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, just ask.
I provide essay editing, feedback, and one-on-one coaching for college application essays (personal statements, supplemental essays, and revisions of essays you've already written). I do not write essays for you from scratch, complete any part of your application on your behalf, or submit anything to a school for you.
I don't promise or guarantee admission to any school, program, or scholarship, and I can't control how an admissions reader responds to your essay. My feedback reflects my own experience, judgment, and opinion — it's one input among many in your application, not a guarantee of any result.
Any essay you bring me must be substantially your own original work. I edit, restructure, and give feedback — I don't write content that gets presented as yours when it isn't, and I don't use AI to write or rewrite any part of your essay. You're welcome to run the final draft through an AI detector yourself to confirm.
You're responsible for following your school's and each target college's academic honesty and application integrity policies. By working with me, you confirm that the essay remains your own voice and ideas, and that submitting edited work is permitted under those policies.
Most of the students I work with are in high school. If you're under 18, a parent or legal guardian needs to review and agree to these terms before any paid work begins, and is the one responsible for payment. If you're a parent or guardian arranging this for your student, booking or paying for a service means you've agreed to these terms on their behalf.
Pricing is shared directly when you message me, and may reflect current promotions. Payment is accepted via Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle, and is due once we agree on the work and I begin editing. I'm a current college student running this on the side, not a company — if something comes up on either end, message me directly and we'll work it out.
I won't share your essay, personal information, or anything about your application with anyone else without your permission, except where required by law.
To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not responsible for indirect or consequential damages connected to these services — including admissions outcomes, scholarship decisions, missed deadlines, or other decisions you make based on my feedback. If a claim related to these services were ever found valid, my total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid me for that specific service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from these services will be handled under California law.
